Celebrate individuality
Every human being is unique. Each inspiration visits us like a visitor from another world, and share stories with the world. In that spirit, each NunoZoo creation is born as a one-of-a -kind handmade item. My hands respect and play with oddity, mismatches, disproportion, and suggest harmony in new and surprising ways. Talk with them, talk with your heart. We support your wild playfulness.

Ecology
Isn’t it happy when we say "yes" to art, AND "yes" to the Earth?
Fabric is one of materials that have challenging situations in recycling systems and a big amount ends in landfills every year.
My creation started with a question; How can we find playful and creative solutions to environment?
I predominantly use recycled materials for our creations and shipping; unused fabric, scraps, used garments, and dead stock- with supporters such as local fabrication studio and textile company. Small but mighty, each Nuno animals is a creative solution to reduce fabric waste in our current economy.
Technique
Stuffed animals are made from patterning outside skin then stuff it with fiber filler. NunoZoo’s fabrication is a combination of various techniques, that I have been developing over 20 years. A body often starts from inside; making core and sculpt it with thin fabric. Some of body parts are made through folding a geometric shape into three dimensional form. I listen to each character of fabric and find solutions, which makes each of animals one of a kind piece.
